![]() ![]() Next up is another fully formed Zebetite. You may want to stand near the bottom one and rapidfire. These two are still attached, so hitting the bottom or top one will do damage to both. You can stand right next to the Zebetite and quickly fire Missiles to get rid of it efficiently, just make sure you dodge all the obstacles heading at you.Īfter the first Zebetite is another, but this column has two smaller ones with a metal tube in the middle. Shots from it are quicker than Rinkas, but can be destroyed as well, but not frozen. In addtion to acid and Rinkas in this room, there are turrets shooting at you every so often. To do so, use around 10 Missiles or 5 Super Missiles, but be fast because they start to regenerate if you stop attacking. Keep left, and you'll see thin red barriers, called Zebetites. The room will shake as acid rises, but it stops after a while. Use Missiles or Super Missiles to get rid of the Zebetite barriers The middle door on the left leads to a Save Station, but since you passed the point of no return, you may not want to use it unless you are okay with being stuck here every time you reload the save. After that, take the right red door.Īn empty hall, except for an eye door at the end, indicating an upcoming boss. The left door contains Missile and Energy Recharge Stations, which you will need after the encounter with the Metroid. In this vertical area shoot the webbing to continue down. Shoot the material in front of the left door that looks like webbing to continue left. When it lets go of you, it'll follow you around a bit unless you attack, where it will then fly away. This is actually a bigger form of the Metroid larva seen in the beginning. It will drain your energy all the way to 1, then let go. ![]() Afterwards, the large Metroid latches onto you, and there is nothing you can do about this. Then, a big Metroid swoops in and drains the life out of the Sidehopper. No matter what you do, you cannot damage it. Eventually when going left, a Sidehopper will slowly emerge. Like the Chozo, they are still and touching them will cause the sand to dissipate. Continue left, but know that it locks after you enter, so this door is a point of no return. Attacking it or merely touching it will cause it to disintegrate. In the next room is a motionless Chozo made of sand. You can defeat them with Super Missiles, but it's best to just Screw Attack left, then through the door. This is the last of the Metroids you have to fight.Īfter the last shaft, you'll end up in an area with sand. On each ledge here, it should be easy enough to freeze the Metroids below. Two more Metroids are on the other side, so get rid of them to move on.Īnother vertical area. Once it's gone, go ahead and continue, but be careful of the acid below. Approach it slowly to kill the Metroid inside. After them, continue right.Īnother horizontal hall. You can drop left to the next platform from the first. Try to stick near the middle of the platforms so you can freeze the Metroids from below in rooms such as this, and they should get stuck trying to move up, at least long enough for you to hit them first. Go left to the platform, then jump and shoot below to freeze it. You need to remove them all to unlock the left door. The circles can only fire one at a time, so you can freeze one to prevent the circle that fired it from firing more. Rinkas can be shot or Screw Attacked to be removed, or merely frozen. ![]() Metroids give a good number of pickups upon death, so don't be afraid to use what you have.Īlso in the following halls are discs of energy called Rinkas, shot from flashing circles in the walls. If you are still having trouble getting the Metroids off, you can always leave through the door you came in and reset the room! It's best to try Screw Attacking while moving through the following rooms, since hitting Metroids in this state will push them back, protecting you from their quick assault and giving time for you to freeze them. The best way to use bombs to escape is to morph, lay a bomb, roll away from the bomb and roll back toward it as it explodes. If this happens, you can use around 3 Power Bombs to kill them, or you can try escaping from their grasp with normal bombs, though this can be hard. If they attach to you, they will drain your energy. After that, use either 5 Missiles or 1 Super Missile. Freeze Metroids, then use Missiles or Super Missiles to finish themīe careful when you enter, because a Metroid will immediately fly for you.

In the spring, Dolma gives birth to another son, and the couple have another child for their loving concern. Actually, what is shown could have taken place at any time over the previous hundred years or so. However, this initial titling was imposed on the filmmakers by the Chinese government in order to disconnect anything that happens in the story from the policies of the Chinese Community party. ![]() At the outset, the viewer is informed by a title that the film is set in 1923. The story of The Horse Thief, which was scripted by Zhang Rui, is presented in roughly five segments. In fact since ritual is such a crucial and pervasive element to this narrative depiction, I will highlight the film’s extended and colourful presentations of religious ritual by the tag “RITUAL”. Instead of the film presenting polemical viewpoint, though, we see Norbu’s world from a more neutral external perspective, where alienation is constantly mediated by religious ritual and the wide dispersion of Tibetan prayer flags. ![]() The film withholds making any moral judgements about his behaviour, and the viewer may also have ambiguous feelings about him. He is devoutly religious, but at the same time he also looks after his loved ones by committing the sin of thievery. Īs the story of The Horse Thief unfolds, we see that the main character, Norbu, is going through something of a spiritual struggle. And this is what seems to have stood out for a number of film critics who have seen the film. And the feeling of living this way is expertly conveyed to us in the film, not so much by the performances of the characters (all whom are played by nonprofessional actors and actresses), but by the expressionistic evocation of the entire “world” (as consciously perceived) in which these people live. These peasant livestock herders lived in such severe conditions that they felt their constantly imperiled existences could only persist by the grace of the mountain god to whom they endlessly prayed. This film has a powerful, almost mystical, ambiance that evokes in us the austere, spiritually-infused consciousness of Tibetan peasants living in the remote highlands. ![]() Tian’s most famous film is The Blue Kite ( Lán Fengzhen, 1993), but perhaps his greatest film is one of his earliest outings – The Horse Thief ( Dào Ma Zéi, 1986). User requirements are captured as use cases that are refined into scenarios. A use case is “the specification of a sequence of actions, including variants, that a system (or entity) can perform, interacting with actors of the system.Ī scenario is one path or flows through a use case that describes a sequence of events that occurs during one particular execution of a system which is often represented by a sequence diagram. The Timing Diagram is also excluded due to concerns about its maturity and suitability for systems engineering needs Why Scenario Modeling with Sequence Diagram?Ī use case is a collection of interactions between external actors and a system. SysML includes the Sequence Diagram only and excludes the Interaction Overview Diagram and Communication Diagram, which were considered to offer significantly overlapping functionality without adding the significant capability for system modeling applications. You can also specify time constraints and duration constraints on interactions. Interaction uses to let you model behavioral decomposition among a set of interactions. You can use elements called lifelines to model the participants in system behavior and then use messages between lifelines to model interactions among those participants. For example, in a customer service application, the Customer entity would manage all data related to a customer.A sequence diagram is a kind of behavior diagram that presents a dynamic view of the use case, a requirement, or a system, a view that expresses sequences of behaviors and event occurrences over time. They represent the different objects or parts that interact with each other in the system during the sequence.Ī lifeline notation with an actor element symbol is used when the particular sequence diagram is owned by a use case.Ī lifeline with an entity element represents system data. No two lifeline notations should overlap each other. A Quick Overview of the Various Parts of a Sequence Diagram Lifeline NotationĪ sequence diagram is made up of several of these lifeline notations that should be arranged horizontally across the top of the diagram. Each object has a column and the messages exchanged between them are represented by arrows. Sequence Diagram NotationsĪ sequence diagram is structured in such a way that it represents a timeline that begins at the top and descends gradually to mark the sequence of interactions. They can be used to model both simple and complex interactions between objects, making them a useful tool for software architects, designers, and developers. Sequence diagrams are commonly used in software development to illustrate the behavior of a system or to help developers design and understand complex systems. In simpler words, a sequence diagram shows how different parts of a system work in a ‘sequence’ to get something done. They illustrate how the different parts of a system interact with each other to carry out a function, and the order in which the interactions occur when a particular use case is executed. Sequence diagrams, commonly used by developers, model the interactions between objects in a single use case. In this sequence diagram tutorial you will learn about ![]() Among the three, sequence diagrams are preferred by both developers and readers alike for their simplicity. These diagrams are used to illustrate interactions between parts within a system. There are 3 types of Interaction diagrams Sequence diagrams, communication diagrams, and timing diagrams. This is designed to prevent access to data protected with the user’s passcode. When the passcode seed bit is locked, no operation to change it is allowed. On A12 SoCs, the Secure Enclave Boot ROM locks the passcode seed bit if the Application Processor has entered Device Firmware Upgrade (DFU) mode or Recovery mode. This protection encompasses files protected in all classes (A, B, C and D), not just those that required the user’s passcode. This is achieved by introducing an additional seed bit whose setting governs the ability to access the media key, which itself is needed to access the metadata (and therefore the contents of all files) on the data volume encrypted with Data Protection. In iOS 13 or later and iPadOS 13.1 or later on devices with an A10 or later, all user data is rendered cryptographically inaccessible when devices are booted into Diagnostics mode. The seed bit is set for keys that require the user’s passcode (including Data Protection Class A, Class B and Class C keys) and cleared for keys that don’t require the user’s passcode (including the file-system metadata key and Class D keys). Starting with the Apple A10 and S3 SoCs, a seed bit is dedicated to distinguish keys protected by the user’s passcode. How the seed bit is used varies according to the system on chip: When Activation Lock is turned on, it’s difficult for anyone else to use or sell a person’s iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch. When keys are created from the UID, these seed bits are included in the key derivation function to create additional key hierarchies.
